IAOHNS Mentorship Program

Dear members of IAOHNS,
 

IAOHNS has taken a step forward to train young aspiring ENT surgeons by our senior colleagues and endorsing this "Mentorship Program". 

 

During the training period, the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 30,000/- per month and the duration of the course is for a period of  3 months which will be credited directly to the candidate's bank account from IAOHNS every month for which candidate have to send their attendance certificate by email before 5th of every month.

 

So we have restricted the number of candidates (sponsored by IAOHNS) to 5 per year (inclusive of all the centres). Candidates will be selected by the “IAOHNS Mentorship Program Expert Committee” after reviewing their application form.

Candidates have to maintain a logbook and have to submit a copy to the IAOHNS Secretariat. At the completion of their training, they will get a Completion Certificate from the mentor.

​

During our Annual Conference, the candidates will be awarded the Training Certificate from the Academy during the Convocation.

Keep the following documents ready before filling up the form:

  • Medical Council registration details

  • Resume soft copy in Docx or PDF format less than 10 mb

  • Passport size photo in Jpeg / Png format less than 1 mb

  • IAOHNS membership number (become IAOHNS member before applying for the program)

  • Cancelled Cheque of yours which should clearly show the account details

  • PAN Card copy

Mentorship Program Guidelines 

 Every year 5 candidates will be selected for the Mentorship Program

  • Candidates have to apply online from the IAOHNS website

  • Candidates have to be an IAOHNS Life member

  • "Mentorship Program Expert Committee" will select the candidates

  • Selected candidates will be informed to join the institution within the stipulated date

  • Candidates have to submit the joining report in the format given. If they couldn’t join within the stipulated date, they should inform the IAOHNS Secretariat and can get an extension for a limited period. If they don’t intimate the office the next candidate from the waiting list will be selected and the candidate will forfeit to join the program for the next 2 years.

  • The candidate will be paid a stipend of Rs 30,000 from IAOHNS every month. They have to submit a logbook and attendance certificate every month via email.

  • The payment of Rs 30,000 will be credited to the candidate's bank account.

  • Candidates have to submit a hard copy of the Logbook to the IAOHNS Secretariat at the completion of their training period.

  • They can prevail leave as per the hospital policy.

  • At the completion of their training, they will get a Completion Certificate from the mentor.

  • At the completion of their training period, the candidate should have improvised their Medical Knowledge, Patient Care and Procedural Skills, Systems-Based Practice, Practice-Based Learning, Professionalism, Interpersonal and Communication Skills

  • During our Annual Conference, the candidates will be awarded the “Mentorship Training Certificate” from the Academy during the Convocation ceremony.
